The estate lies on the river Southesk, one of the foremost Scottish salmon rivers.  The estate has three fishing beats near the mouth of the river and there is an opportunity to take this for the day or week depending on the beat.  

Kinnaird also boasts a long established and well-respected shoot, mainly within walking distance of the castle. We can cater for every standard of shooting ability and can offer several consecutive days of sport.
